Our Vision
At Building Blocks OSHC, we want all children to feel prepared for life ahead of primary school and we aim to provide each child with the building blocks for life through teaching various life skills and learning through play. We value the families that each child comes from and understand families need for safe and reliable care to ensure their child's wellbeing.
Our History
Building Blocks OSHC is a new Outside of School Hours Provider, but our founders Belinda (Miss Bel) and Jacob (Mr. Jake) bring with them many years of experience, skill and knowledge. Belinda has over 15 years experience in Early Childhood and OSHC in educator, Director and Management positions. Jacob has his original background in construction management having worked as a site supervisor for close to 10 years, but also brings many years of experience working with children as he also was a junior teams baseball coach until Building Blocks started. Jacob also has program experience as he has developed our entire sports program for each term and had worked in partnership with Belinda to develop our program templates to be more easily accessible and readable for families.
Our Programs
We offer a range of programs to meet the needs of children at different stages of development. Our programs before and after school care, holiday care and pupil free days. Each program is designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment that supports the growth and development of each child while ensuring each quality standard and learning outcome is met. Our program each day includes activities that enhance each child's creativity, physical wellbeing, social and emotional wellbeing, cognitive skills, and sustainability, while also providing opportunities for spontaneous play.
